Located along the Rogue River, this estate landscape draws inspiration from a more classic aesthetic with its formal lines, a feminine plant palette, and ambling trails through the forest down to the river. To supply the owner’s eclectic palette, a large organic kitchen garden was designed to produce 40 to 50 lbs. of food per month during the growing season.

Working very closely with the client and the landscape contractor, numerous hours were spent on-site developing this estate into a labor of love for not only the owner, but the landscape architect as well. No detail was spared from the bespoke paving patterns, layout, and lighting, to the refined plant palette. As years pass the garden continues to develop, with each season bringing a new opportunity for growth, change, and renewal.
