Applegate Valley Craftsman Garden Estate

Located in the Applegate Valley, this rural estate is surrounded by beautiful views of mountains, oak forests, and flowerings meadows. Celebrating the view to the south, a pool extends out to the meadow with a disappearing edge. A wooden deck borders the pool and is surrounded by flowering ornamental grasses. Adjacent to the pool area, a spiraled stone wall sweeps down to the outdoor shower area.

The back of the house is the entertainment terrace that focuses on the large stone fireplace. A pizza oven and covered dining area opens to flagstone paving planted with the flowering groundcover. Fruit trees edge the terrace underplanted with a large pollinator garden. Specimen trees were selected to provide shade during the hot months and ground the house in the surrounding forest.

The walled entry courtyard at the front of the house compliments the craftsman architecture with Saltillo tile paving and wooden gate. The courtyard is home to cottage themed garden plantings with flowering perennials, a specimen maple tree, and several pieces of art.
